How to be a great teacher??

My lecturer say that we are not the one source in the class. We as fasilitator for our students. It’s very insipirating statment. We are hoped have good personality. Such as friendly, wise, patient, and can to be a good friend. Don’t be a “devil” for your student who always say loudly, get angry every your student make a mistake. We can learn more from microteaching class..

First of all, waht is microteaching?   

^^ Microteaching is a training technique whereby the teacher reviews a videotape of the lesson after each session, in order to conduct a "post-mortem". Teachers find out what has worked, which aspects have fallen short, and what needs to be done to enhance their teaching technique. Invented in the mid-1960s at Stanford University by Dr. Dwight Allen, micro-teaching has been used with success for several decades now, as a way to help teachers acquire new skills.

^^ My expectation is hopefull we can get many knowledge and motivator how to be a great teacher. Beside that we can improve our teaching skill, share everthing about learn and teach from this class so we know what are our weakness. Get a new method in teaching is important too.

^^  My suggestions for microteaching class are :

ü  Fun Class, maybe we can sing or short story from volunteer of us

ü  More practice than theory

ü  We can exercise teac in real class maybe we can to sent for the student in microteaching class.

ü  Use microteaching lab.
